Texas Fruit and Vegetable Gardening: Plant, Grow, and Eat the Best Edibles for Texas Gardens by Greg Grant

This is one of my favorite gardening books. Written specifically for Texas and its varied climates and soils. It’s a great reference guide for beginning gardeners and addresses some hard truths about gardening in the Lone Star state.

Texas Organic Vegetable Gardening: The Total Guide to Growing Vegetables, Fruits, Herbs, and Other Edible Plants the Natural Way by J. Howard Garrett and C. Malcolm Beck

A great resource in organic gardening, I really enjoyed it because it gave me ideas to help my garden along without having run out and spend a whole lot of money on a whole bunch of chemicals I really didn’t want on my food anyway.
